    Let’s get to know “OPAL”

✨Opal comes from the Latin word Opalus, which means “the beauty of gems in one”. The ancient Roman natural scientist Pliny once said: “In a piece of Opal stone, you can see the ruby flame, amethyst-like color spots, emerald-like green sea, colorful, all in one, beautiful.

✨Opal, the unique splendor of the rainbow like scattered on earth, known as “God’s palette” and “Monet’s garden”, rich in color and one of a kind, with its special effect of color change and is known worldwide. It is famous for its special color-changing effect. Opal is the birthstone of October, and is believed to bring good luck because it brings together all the colors of the gemstones, symbolizing the rainbow 🌈, and bringing a bright future to the people.☀

    Colors of Opal
➡The colors of the Opal encompass almost the entire spectrum of colors, they can present a single color, they can contain two or three colors, and they can even present a rainbow of colors. The colors of the opal are a combination of their own color and the swimming color.

➡The different colors of opal are caused by the suspension of tiny impurities between the silica spheres contained in opal. Different kinds of Opal have different colors, such as black opal color is dark, white opal、crystal and hydrophane opal are light tones, and fire opal is mostly a single color.

    ✅Types of Opal

⚪️White opal: The body color is mainly white and gray, also known as “milk Opal”, a good white opal is the most intense color change, so the price of white Opal is also very high, second only to black Opal.

🔥 Fire opal: Translucent to opaque varieties with no or little variation in color, usually orange, orange-red, red, and brilliant red, with irregular shapes, of which bright red is more expensive in fire opal.

🟤Boulder opal: It refers to the color of the opal attached to the inseparable iron ore, very thin colored opal wrapped in the iron ore surface.

🟣Crystal Opal: The tone is transparent or translucent, and you can even see the objects behind it through Opal.

🔵Matrix opal: Opal that is distributed as a filling material in the pores or cavities of the host rock.

🔴Hydrophane opal: Transparent or nearly transparent, colorless, slightly yellowish opal with color-changing effect. Main production in Ethiopia (high transparency, can be slightly colored).

    ✅Origin of Opal
⛳As one of the precious gemstones, only a few countries and regions in the world have gem-grade Opal output. At present, the common Opal on the market is mainly produced in Australia, Mexico, Africa and other places.

Australia produces white opal and black opal, Mexico produces transparent hydrophane opal and fire opal, and Ethiopia is also an important Opal producer.
